We help your organisation responsibly dispose of redundant IT equipment, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and supporting your sustainability objectives.
Our fleet of secure, GPS-tracked, low-emission vehicles will collect your equipment at a time that suits you, including outside of business hours if needed, and transport it to our state-of-the-art data destruction and recycling facility in Ayrshire. Our accredited data destruction process ensures we destroy all data in line with current regulations, including the Data Protection Act (2018), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations. We will then process your equipment for reuse or recycling, in line with your preferences and permission.
We can provide full audit trails for collected equipment and supply all appropriate paperwork and documentation for your reporting purposes.

CCL has developed a wide range of processes and solutions to ensure that the IT assets we process are securely reused or recycled as part of the circular economy, and in line with your organisation's preferences and policies.
IT equipment recycling follows our established protocol, from your initial inquiry through secure collection and data destruction. Once the data has been completely eradicated, you can choose from three secure recycling methods for the items.
Refurbish
When permitted, CCL will refurbish and repurpose IT equipment in its original form to extend product lifecycles and align with the waste hierarchy, consistent with our commitment to a circular economy.
Recover
We manually strip down IT equipment to recover as many components as possible for reuse. By recovering these components, the team ensures that valuable resources can be repurposed and extended in their lifecycle.
recycle
Where refurbishment and recovery are not feasible or permissible, CCL will systematically disassemble equipment into its constituent materials. This approach aims to maximise value, enhance resource recovery, and improve recycling rates for each item.
