Our Core Process
Our fully-trained and Disclosure Scotland vetted staff collect all types of WEEE and IT equipment from your premises, and transport them to our secure 25,000 sq.ft. facility in Irvine using our fleet of low-emission, GPS-tracked vehicles. We securely erase data or physically destroy it in our purpose-built shredders before refurbishing, re-using or dismantling into base components to maximise recycling.

We follow the same 5 core process steps for all clients and services. The detailed steps followed during the data destruction and secure recycling stages vary depending on client requirements and the type of equipment we are dealing with. Our processes are accredited to all relevant standards. We hold accreditations in quality management, environmental management, information security management, and health and safety: ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001 and ISO 45001, as well as BS 15713 for the secure destruction of confidential material.
We make sure we achieve maximum value and optimal recycling rates for every single item. All base material we recover is fully recycled within the UK and nothing is exported. This allows us control over materials and to carefully audit our end refiners, ensuring they meet our exacting standards.

Our transport operation is based on two key principles – maximum security and minimum carbon output. Our fleet consists of low emission vehicles which are hard sided, liveried, and fitted with GPS tracking systems. Each member of our driving team is fully vetted through Disclosure Scotland and trained in fuel efficient driving.
We never use third parties to collect or process equipment on our behalf. Instead, by using our own employees, we can enhance security and control how your equipment is being handled to achieve maximum reuse. For collections containing sensitive data, we use a two man team so your assets are never unattended.
With excellent customer coverage throughout the whole of Scotland and the UK, we assign the right size and number of vehicles to each uplift request. We consolidate collections where possible to ensure our vehicles operate at maximum capacity at all times. We also use our vehicle tracking system to plan the most efficient routes for collections.
