Each of our methods ensure complete compliance with the Data Protection Act (2018), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations, and all other current legislations.
Where written permission is given, we will look to refurbish. We work hard to extend product lifecycles and promote reuse of redundant IT equipment within the circular economy, like through our business computer recycling services.
Where permission is not granted, or equipment is not suitable, we achieve maximum value and optimal recycling rates by hand separating equipment to recover components and sub-assemblies and to separate equipment into its base materials like copper, aluminium and printed circuit boards for precious metal recovery.
All base materials we recover are sent to carefully audited downstream refiners here within the UK. This allows traceability, supports our processing capabilities and supports sustainable job creation.
Our customer care team is always on hand to provide the best advice on meeting compliance and legal obligations when disposing of your surplus or redundant computers and IT equipment. Our team are massively proud of the sustainable work they do locally and nationally in the UK.
